On Friday, Apple unveiled its official Apple Store app for India, designed to offer a more personalized and seamless shopping experience for its customers. The app, available to existing Apple users in the country, provides tailored product recommendations, enhancing the overall purchasing journey.
This launch complements Apple’s growing presence through physical flagship stores, with locations in Mumbai and New Delhi that opened in 2023. Additionally, Apple announced plans to expand its retail presence with more stores in Bengaluru, Pune, Delhi NCR, and Mumbai.
The Apple Store app includes a range of features to streamline the shopping experience. It offers dedicated tabs for exploring the latest Apple products, accessories, and services. Users can also learn about key retail programs like Apple Trade In and financing options.
A standout feature of the app is the “For You” tab, which organizes timely recommendations and information based on the user’s preferences, providing a more curated shopping experience. Users can quickly view and purchase saved items.
The app also offers flexible delivery options, including home delivery and in-store pickup services. After purchasing a product, the “Go Further” tab connects users with Apple Specialists for online Personal Setup sessions to assist with setting up new products.
Additionally, the app allows users to engrave their AirPods, iPads, Apple Pencils, and AirTags with names, initials, emojis, and numbers in eight different languages, at no extra cost.
