Salman Khan’s Playful Antics: Aasif Sheikh Recalls Hilarious Driving Incident During ‘Bandhan’ Shoot

In a recent interview with The Lallantop, veteran actor Aasif Sheikh shared an amusing anecdote about an incident involving Bollywood superstar Salman Khan during the shoot of the film Bandhan. Aasif, who has worked with Salman in multiple films, recalled an instance of the actor’s carefree and playful nature, particularly his unconventional driving habits.

During the shoot of Bandhan, Salman was driving his Esteem car with Aasif seated beside him. Salman, known for his adventurous personality both on and off-screen, took to driving recklessly, moving between the footpath and the road. Aasif, amused yet slightly concerned, warned Salman that they might get caught by the police. However, Salman, in his typical laid-back style, brushed off the concern by reassuring Aasif that there was nothing to worry about since they were with Salman Khan.

As Aasif recounted the incident, he said that they did indeed get pulled over by a traffic policeman, but much to Salman’s surprise, the officer didn’t immediately recognize him. Salman joked with Aasif about how the officer had failed to recognize him, humorously suggesting that maybe taking off his shirt would help the policeman identify him—an iconic nod to Salman’s shirtless appearances in several films.

Aasif has shared the screen with Salman in several movies over the years, including Karan Arjun, Auzaar, Shaadi Karke Phas Gaya Yaar, Dil Ne Jise Apna Kaha, and Bharat. This camaraderie and off-screen bonding have evidently led to several memorable moments, such as this light-hearted one, showcasing Salman’s fun-loving side.

This story is a reflection of Salman Khan’s larger-than-life persona, both in his interactions with co-stars and in the public eye. Known for his charm, wit, and occasionally playful disregard for convention, these anecdotes offer a glimpse into the personal side of one of Bollywood’s most celebrated stars.
