As we head into Thursday’s trading session, here’s a look at some stocks that are expected to see action based on the latest developments. On Wednesday, both the NSE Nifty 50 and the BSE Sensex faced slight declines, with the former closing 26 points lower at 23,045.25 and the latter losing 122.52 points, ending at 76,171.08.

ONGC is in focus as the company aims to double its domestic exploration and production acreage to 500,000 square kilometres within the next five years, according to its director of finance, Vivek Chandrakant Tongaonkar, as reported by Business Headline (BH).

In renewable energy, NTPC Green Energy (ONGPL) has announced a significant acquisition, buying Ayana Renewable Power at an enterprise value of Rs 19,500 crore ($2.3 billion), marking the second-largest deal in the sector.

Honasa Consumer has beaten market expectations with a consolidated net profit of Rs 26 crore for Q3 FY25, surpassing the Street’s estimate of Rs 17 crore. The company’s revenue rose 6%, totaling Rs 517.5 crore.

Reliance Industries (RIL) continues to expand its reach, with the incorporation of a new subsidiary, REC Sustainable Energy Solutions, in Singapore to enhance its research and development activities.

Kotak Mahindra Bank saw a positive development as the Reserve Bank of India lifted restrictions, allowing the bank to onboard new customers and issue credit cards once again.

Jubilant FoodWorks reported a decline in net profit by 34.2% for Q3 FY25, posting Rs 43.24 crore. In contrast, P N Gadgil Jewellers saw a remarkable 49.4% jump in net profit, reaching Rs 86 crore in Q3 FY25.
