Honasa Appoints Former Flipkart Executive Yatish Bhargava As CBO

In a major leadership move, Honasa Consumer, the parent company of personal care unicorn Mamaearth, has appointed Yatish Bhargava as its new Chief Business Officer (CBO). The appointment is effective from June 17, 2025, and marks a strategic step in Honasa’s vision to scale operations and drive multi-brand growth across India and global markets.

Yatish Bhargava brings with him rich experience in consumer business, e-commerce, and retail strategy. He most recently served as the Business Head for Home and Furniture at Flipkart, where he led category expansion, supply chain optimisation, and profitability. Before Flipkart, he spent nearly a decade at Hindustan Unilever, handling key sales and distribution roles across regions. He is an alumnus of IIM Lucknow with a focus on marketing, strategy, and operations.

At Honasa, Bhargava will be responsible for driving business performance across the company’s diverse portfolio, which includes Mamaearth, The Derma Co., Aqualogica, BBlunt, and The Moms Co. He will oversee operations across D2C platforms, online marketplaces, offline retail, and export channels. This appointment signals Honasa’s deeper push into omnichannel expansion and operational excellence.

The company stated that Bhargava’s deep understanding of consumer behavior, category strategy, and digital commerce makes him a strong fit for its next phase of growth. His leadership is expected to strengthen Honasa’s vision of building purpose-led, millennial-focused brands that are backed by innovation and sustainability.
