Following Rani’s tragic death, her father, Mohan Lal, lodged a formal complaint against Jeevan Kumar. The charges filed against him include Section 306 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), which pertains to abetment to suicide. Despite the FIR, Kumar has not yet been apprehended by the authorities.
