Billionaire Nikhil Kamath discussed his visit to spirits baron Abhishek Khaitan’s house in Delhi on his podcast “WTF”, as well as his plan to launch a “tequila brand” with a famous person.

Nikhil Kamath and some of his friends recently went to Abhishek Khaitan’s house for dinner.
“We had this idea of starting a tequila brand with a famous person,” Nikhil said. I recently went to his house for dinner with some of my friends. So, I went in the hotel taxi and when we were returning, Abhishek sent a Rolls Royce, a Bentley and one or two other such cars. And we went inside like a group of cars and I was wondering what is this going on?”
He further explained that the Innova car in which he came was also following him while returning to the hotel.
Digital Gaming
In early June, Nikhil announced the launch of the “WTF Gaming Fund” for digital gaming business owners and developers.
Nikhil Kamath said in a post on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), “When I was young, cricket used to be our complete focus, be it playing, watching or cheering… It seems that sports have replaced cricket in today’s younger generation… It is interesting to see how the gaming landscape has evolved over time.” He added, “Applications are open for the gaming fund. If you or someone you know is building something in the industry (not just games), register here: https://airtable.com/appaTroW9uFyIHCfw/pagLfI98SReCMEj8u/form.”
The Zerodha co-founder’s words underscored a global trend in which digital gaming has become the dominant source of entertainment among teenagers, often overtaking traditional sports in popularity.
