Online travel agency EaseMyTrip has issued an official statement clarifying its position after the Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted raids at over 50 locations, including the company’s Gurugram office. The searches were part of a larger investigation into alleged money laundering linked to illegal betting platforms, including the Mahadev Betting App.
In a regulatory filing on Thursday, EaseMyTrip firmly denied any association with the betting platform or similar entities. “While EaseMyTrip has no direct or indirect association with the Mahadev Betting App or any other betting platform, we remain fully committed to cooperating with the authorities throughout the course of the investigation,” the statement read.
The ED action reportedly targeted individuals and businesses suspected of having financial ties to the Mahadev network, a betting and gambling platform that has drawn significant scrutiny in recent months. However, EaseMyTrip has distanced itself from any such allegations, asserting that it maintains strong internal compliance and governance protocols.
