Delhi NCR-based travel tech startup Holiday Tribe has raised INR 25 Cr (around $3 Mn) in its Pre-Series A funding round led by existing investor Powerhouse Ventures, with participation from GSF and several undisclosed angel investors. Both Powerhouse Ventures and GSF have doubled their stake in this round.
Founded in 2022 by Anshu Sharma and Chirag Goyal, Holiday Tribe specialises in delivering customised holiday packages by leveraging its proprietary tech stack. The platform claims to offer speed, scalability, and accuracy in curating holiday experiences.
The fresh funds will be deployed to advance its AI capabilities, focusing on features like real-time personalisation, demand qualification, itinerary optimisation, and AI-powered customer assistance. The startup also plans to expand its supplier network to include more customisable inventory from emerging travel destinations.
According to the founders, Holiday Tribe is on track to cross INR 500 Cr in total gross merchandise value (GMV)within the next year. This growth target follows the company’s previous seed funding round in 2024, where it raised INR 5.4 Cr.
Funding Momentum In Travel Tech
Holiday Tribe’s fundraise aligns with a strong upswing in India’s travel tech sector. As per Business Headline data, Indian travel tech startups secured $127 Mn in funding in H1 2025, a 57% increase from $81 Mn during the same period in 2024.
The sector’s growth is being driven by increased demand for curated travel experiences, improved connectivity, and tech adoption across the tourism value chain. The Indian travel tech market is projected to surpass $750 Mn by 2033.
Competitive Landscape
Holiday Tribe competes with established players such as MakeMyTrip, EaseMyTrip, and Yatra, alongside newer entrants targeting niche and personalised travel segments. While MMT is listed on NASDAQ, EaseMyTrip, Yatra, and ixigo are listed on BSE and NSE in India.
By doubling down on AI-driven travel personalisation and expanding its supply network, Holiday Tribe aims to carve out a distinct positioning in an increasingly competitive market. The startup is betting on deep tech integration as the key differentiator to scale faster and achieve profitability in the evolving travel tech landscape.
