Today’s SGX Nifty forecasts a flat to negative start for the Sensex and Nifty. Investors were encouraged that the government would take steps to protect its people’s money, so American market cues were marginally better.According to experts, the Nifty will likely face resistance above 17,250 today, with immediate support at 17,000 on the downside.

Vedanta, HAL, BEL, IRCTC, and Campus Activewear are among the top stocks to watch.

Vedanta: Vedanta shares will be under focus today since the company’s board of directors will meet on March 28 to examine the 5th interim dividend.  The dividend will be payable on April 7, 2023.

Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL): Following a strong response to the Offer for Sale of government shares in HAL on day one, HAL shares will be in the spotlight today.Non-retail investors subscribed to the offer 4.5 times its base size at a clearing price above the floor price. The government has also opted to utilise the green shoe option, and ordinary investors will have the opportunity to bid today.

IRCTC: IRCTC has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Uttarakhand Civil Aviation Development Authority (UCADA) for a 5-year term to provide pilgrims visiting Shri Kedarnath Dham with Helicopter ticket booking services.In this regard, the IRCTC will provide a website (mobile-friendly) for buying helicopter tickets. Pilgrims will be able to buy their helicopter tickets online via the IRCTC website.

BEL (Bharat Electronics Ltd): The Ministry of Defence signed two contracts with Bharat Electronics on Thursday for the supply of medium power radar and digital radar warning receiver (RWR) for the Indian Air Force totaling Rs 3,800 crore.

Campus Activewear: According to CNBC-TV18, which cited sources, Campus Activewear will see a significant block sale today.  TPG Global, which now owns 7.62% of the firm or 2,32,07,692 shares, is scheduled to sell its entire position in a block sale today, according to the article.
